Yes, there are also olive trees in Switzerland, but only in southern Mediterranean do they have the basis to survive.
Almost 8 years ago we planted a small young olive tree. It’s the birthday present from my aunt and uncle. He has made enormous progress in these years and especially this spring he shows a lot of small, young olives. Apparently, he finds in our garden a perfect basis for growth. Now we are curious to see how the harvest will turn out this year. From November we will keep you up to date.
