The year 2019 in the olive grove
The start of the new year was promising. The trees enjoyed the beautiful weather in spring and thus the flowers were shot out in large numbers. Unfortunately, in May, a very strong wind over different days throws a big spanner in the work. More than half of the harvest has been destroyed in these days.
Nevertheless, we can be proud of the quality of the remaining olives: healthy, spicy and strong.

Tip
Do not buy too much olive oil, but only until the next harvest (October/November). Then there is already fresh oil again.
