The Feijoa or Pineapple Guave is originally from Brazil and therefore also bears the name‘Brazilian Guave’. It is also known as ‘Pineapple-Guave’. The chicken-sized fruit with its sweet-sour taste is grown mainly in New Zealand and South America and has season there from mid-March to May. In Sardinia we also know you, the season is a little later.
